Welcome to my Private Practice for Psychotherapy and Coaching in Berlin, Kreuzberg and online worldwide

Thank you for taking the first step towards seeking support. I know at times it can be a difficult one. Caught up in our daily hassles we often don’t get the chance to listen in on ourselves, to understand what we need, cherish, miss and desire. We develop mechanisms and patterns, some functional others dysfunctional and misleading. I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, Verhaltenstherapie) in English with specializations in Schematherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In addition, I am a licensed Coach for Stressmanagement and Relaxation. You can also consult me for a Coaching. I’m licensed to practice psychotherapy in Germany/Berlin.

Psychotherapy and Online therapy

I offer my services in Berlin, Kreuzberg and online worldwide. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) focuses on thoughts and behaviours and how these influence your mental health. I integrate the traditional CBT approach with more recent developments in the field of psychotherapy such as Schematherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) always looking for what your individual needs are. CBT has proven to be an effective treatment for unipolar and bipolar depression, panic disorder, social phobia, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adaptation disorder, and somatization disorder. Costs

Private health insurance

If you are with a private health insurance, please contact your insurance company to find out whether psychotherapy is covered by your contract and if so, how many sessions. Short-term therapy is normally 25 sessions, long therm therapy 60 sessions. Normally psychotherapy can start right away.

Public health insurance

If you are with the public health insurance, you can apply for your insurance to cover the costs of the therapy if you have been declined by at least 10 CBT-Psychotherapists who have a direct license for the public health system (reimbursement plan/ "Kostenerstattung").

Self-pay

The cost of a session is based on the German Scale of Fees for Psychotherapists (GOP). Therapy length is caterd individually to your needs, but guided by short and longterm therapy as mentioned above.
